Can British agriculture achieve Zero Carbon by 2040 – and help restore nature?

Watch on YouTube. Agriculture needs to be part of the vital solution to climate change. If you enjoyed our Kiss the Ground film screening and Iain Tolhurst’s recent ‘Growing Green’ stock-free farming talk, then Oliver Rubinstein’s talk on will very likely be of interest to you as it will be somewhere between these two positions. Oliver is an experienced and engaging presenter and there will be plenty of time for questions. Watch a recording of the talk here.

Oliver is the National Farmers Union (NFU) County Adviser for Bedfordshire and Huntingdonshire.  He is not from a farming background, but he has worked on various types of farms.  He holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Agriculture from Exeter University.  Previous roles have included acting as a sustainability researcher at the Organic Research Centre, and more recently agricultural sustainability consultant with clients such as Nestle and Pepsico, plus a range of other food companies. Oliver has also launched his own business growing microgreens.
